With hydronetic flex, precise socket fabrication begins at the very first step: accurate residual limb capture. The system can be used flexibly for both transtibial and transfemoral fittings. The casting process is performed under defined hydrostatic pressure and physiological loading, resulting in a reproducible, well-fitting negative plaster mold that provides a reliable foundation for subsequent socket design. The uniform, surface-wide pressure distribution captures soft tissue, bony structures, and scar tissue under realistic load conditions. This ensures an accurate representation of the anatomical situation and reduces the amount of manual modification required. As a result, fabrication becomes more reliable and the need for adjustments is significantly reduced. The system is operated via a practical control unit that allows precise adjustment and monitoring of the hydrostatic pressure.
