The exopulse suit was created to help children living with spasticity move more freely and confidently.

Spasticity is one of the most common movement challenges experienced by children with cerebral palsy (CP) or after a stroke. It can cause muscles to feel stiff, tight, or difficult to control, making everyday activities more challenging.

The exopulse suit uses gentle electrical stimulation to help children move more freely – for greater stability, fewer falls, and more energy to play.

The exopulse suit is designed to help manage the effects of spasticity through regular, gentle stimulation. Used for one hour every other day, it can complement your child's existing therapy routine and support smoother movement in everyday life.

Function

How the suit works

The near-full body suit is designed to gently relax tight muscles using a well-known method called neuromodulation. Inside the suit, 50 small electrodes send soft, barely noticeable pulses to both the tense muscles and the weaker ones that normally help balance them. These signals help loosen the tight muscles and wake up the weak ones, so the whole muscle group can work together again – making movement feel more natural and easier for the body.
